Not necessarily...he (or she) would have to make a new e-mail account, then send it to that account, plus they'd have to know about the refer-a-friend section in the first place...it's much easier just to grab a coupon/deal off another board, then post it there. =) Hey, if the mods think it's inappropriate, they can delete it.
 
He posted the message knowing it was inappropriate. Self-advertising combined with REFERRAL crap... heh... Just pure crap.
 
I believe I also saw Zuni mention something about copyright infringement when others use icons created specifically for FuseTalk (the software Anandtech is running). You may want to change your avatars my friend.

How generous. Give someone a $5 certificate they can easily get themselves and you end up with a $5 certificate yourself when they use it. This is not a Hot Deal. It's ice cold.
