I've got PowerDVD and I have a Region 2 DVD. Now if I put the DVD in, can I rip the vobs with Gordian Knot? Or will my DVD Burner not even read it?

If your DVD player won't read it, you should be able to change the reigion code on the drive in Windows - I think you get up to 5 changes before it's locked at a particular reigon.

Download DVD Region Killer. It's a program that runs in the background and lets you play any region DVD in most, if not all, DVD software.

Also, I've been able to rip R3 and R2 DVDs without problems. I don't know if the credit goes to DVD Shrink or DVD Region Killer, but it works on my system.
