That looks like something that Mitsubishi would put out.

the text under the picture says the following, so we can hope that it really looks better...

What you see in this illustration is a fairly close rendition of what we can expect when the next-generation Pontiac GTO hits the market in 2008. We say ?fairly close? because we?ve seen the super-secret spy photos upon which it is based, and the actual shots show a sleeker, wider, lower and, frankly, far more appealing car.

I'd laugh if it were not so sad - the Germans and Japanese are coming out with truly original and innovative designs and this is the best GM can do?

Oh for god's sake. Why can't these companies make a modernized version of the classic muscle cars with out going way over board? That's hideous! Why don't they just make one that looks exactly like the old one with a modern engine and all the accoutrements? If they made a new Charger that looks like the 69 with the new hemi they'd sell thousands! If you get something right when you cook it the first time, you don't change the friggin recipe!

You're probably right, after bringing the Solstice, this would be a step backwards

Ya, I don't like the looks of any of those cars listed. But then again, I have always been one for modern style. And by modern I mean Corvette-ish, not lets take a 40 year old car and make it look the same...but "modern"
