regedit has been blocked

Hey. My school in their login script has a list of 'DisallowRun' keys that get put into the registry. One of those keys is in fact regedit itself, which means I cannot get into the registry. My computer is not part of the domain, but foolishly I ran the domain script anyways because apparently I needed to install some program to get my printing working. Basically, I cannot get into the registry to delete the DisallowRun keys that are blocking certain programs I am wanting to use. Can anyone please help? Thanks

as an admin:
start>run>gpedit.msc

Drill down to the computer configuration>windows settings>security settings>software restriction policies

I'm going to guess this is where it is set if this machine is not a domain member.

Hi. Thanks for your help. What I did was find the regedit file and rename it so I could get into it. The reason I hadnt tryed this before was that I was sure I had already tryed that and it just wouldnt load but obviously I had made a mistake. Much thanks for your help anyway
