It may be that I have an old copy of Regclean. It is the same small program I have had for years using it with WIN9XX.
Anyway, my XP Pro would lose it's ability to open to a slideshow from an inserted cd with photos on it. I had reloaded XP from the start, and all was well.
Done a Regclean today - thought to check the slideshow feature, and it was gone. Reversed the Regclean session, and all back to normal.
Thought others might like to kmow.
