A sum up of the Downing Street memos (and yes, I know this has already been discussed, bear with me):

The Downing Street memo is a document containing meeting minutes transcribed during the British Prime Minister's meeting on July 23, 2002. It states that the US government did not hold the opinion that Iraq was a greater threat than other nations, that the US government "fixed" intelligence regarding Iraq in order to "sell" the case for war to the American people, and that contrary to Bushs' repeated statements that war with Iraq was a last resort the administration had already decided to go to war to remove Saddam from power and were searching for an adequate reason to validate that goal.

To date, no one in any official capacity has directly disputed the validity of the leaked documents, aside from some implications that the documents are misleading, no-one (and if I'm wrong please correct me) has firmly denied this information.

My only question is this, if these papers are true and accurate, should Bush be impeached for lying to the American people?

If it appears there is a valid case for it, then yes, he should be impeached under whatever applicable grounds (if any.)
