i think the difference would depend on all the other components inside the box..

but if the 1.6 G could reach 2,4 G on FSB overclock, i think it would beat the 1,8@2,4
because the 1,6 G CPU must have a higher FSB ratio compared to the 1,8 G in order to reach 2,4..

e.g. if the default FSB is 133 then the default multiplier of 1,6 G should be 12 and in order to reach 2,4 the FSB must be set at 200 MHz
and on the 1,8 G the default multiplier should be 13,5 and in order to reach 2,4 the FSB must be set to 178 MHz (whic is lower)

since from what i've experienced FSB overclocks boost the entire system's bus AGP,PCI,etc,etc. it gives a better performance on higher FSB settings..
assuming all the other components in your system could handle the FSB o/c .
