Ok, so this is a quick/easy question. I understand that there are certain email addresses that we are restricted from siging up at AT with, due to the fact that any trolls can easily obtain free emails, and spread their wrath all over the boards.
When I originally signed up a few years ago, I used my school email address. And up until now, it has worked fine, because it forwards it to my Yahoo! account. But, I just found out, when I was talking to my old boss at the University, that they are starting to do some funky stuff, and will dis-continue the email accounts a certain amount of time after you graduate. (Been 10 months for me now.) And I just use that ONE Yahoo! account for my primary contacts. Is there ANY WAY at all to change my email to this after being a member for a few years? If not, I understand. Then my next question is, does anyone know any free email's that I'm allowed to use in my profile that will allow me to forward them to my Yahoo account? It's my primary email for contacts, and I use it very frequently. I have a few other accounts that I rarely check, that have been infiltrated by every spam known to man. (Seriously, I have a low mortgage rate on my house, I'm taking my free Cruise to the Bahamas, and I lost 30 pounds in 8 days.)
(Sorry if this doesn't belong here, just didn't want to start a topic in OT about this, and felt it might be useful to other members.) I don't need a MOD response or anything, just wondering if anyone else knew anything about this.
