Regarding cyber security interviews.

What technical and non-technical questions are typically asked in an interview for a job in the field of cyber security, for someone who has little to no "office environment" based job experience?

Im not aware of any security related jobs that dont require experience in...something. Network, servers, software, or cloud. Typically security jobs will focus on a particular set of skills. For example, a network security job will be vastly different than an infrastructure security position. Security in general has many facets. A general security focused job would be something like a helpdesk.

With that said, here's a basic concept you should understand: who or what is the biggest security risk in an organization, and why?

If there's no 'office experience' then there's probably going to be some interest in how that person builds their skills. So talking about things done like home lab experimentation, free or paid trainings, those kinds of things.

It can be a depressing field so working in some commentary about having a steady attitude and approach under stress could be useful
