refurbished notebooks

Hey guys,

I need some help. Buying a notebook for the first time. Student, big variation in money supply low-low monthly average. What do you think of refurbished notebook directly from manufacturer and in specific of this deal.

How much slower is the shared video UMA arch.; I usually don't do much gaming some Photoshop

2. look into the current IBM deal, search IBM in hotdeals

That is a pretty good deal. You may want to make sure it has a cdrw, and perhaps an infrared port. Shared memory is ok.... if you just use the lappy for business, and internet work, etc.. Of course.... if you can get dedicated ram on the video... that is always nice.
