Hello there,I'm just interested if it's safe to buy from newegg refurbished amd gpu's assuming the fact that if it will be faulty I don't have chance to send it back? Thanks in advance

P.S Talking about tri-x and vapor 290's

Newegg is a very reputable etailer, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. That being said, I wouldn't buy a refurbished gpu from anyone that I couldn't send back if it was faulty.

Are you sure there's no return policy? As opposed to a replacement-only return policy?

Don't do it, there is no point unless the price is ridiculously low.

TigerDirect has XFX R9 290 for $220 and XFX R9 290X for $260. Both come with a lifetime warranty as long as you register the card within 30 days of purchase date.
