Refurbished CPU's are the worth the try?

I'm buying parts around to build my system and saw a refurb cpu....is it worth it or not?

Don't know about CPU's really... but I have a year old refurbished Raptor from newegg.

I'm ordering my cpu in a few min....man....well I guess not risk it then since I'll be overclocking it....better get the new one right!??

Most refurbs from newegg are returns from customers. They may work just fine, just don't overclock how they customer wanted it to.

I bought one once and it did not oc well (but had no problem at all). However it was a very good deal. If you do not oc, the refub cpu should be good.
