I may sound like a noob here, but I was wondering exactly what a refurbished video card is, since I was considering buying one from newegg. What makes them good or bad?

I think he's asking what the "fixed" part entails.

I'm more inclined to think that 99% of the cards that are sold from places like newegg aren't strictly refurbs, just returns that tested ok, and were repackaged and resold.
