Im looking for a video card that will give me a bit above average graphics and performace. I dont play to many games but when and if I do Id like to have something that will work. I saw in the specs on this that it does have tv-out which is a plus. Its also AGP 8X.. I have a MSI 420-Pro I dont believe that it supports AGP 8X since it wasnt out at that time.

Will this card work okay in my pre-8x motherboard?

it should work fine being that is is backward compatible to 4x and 2x agp mode.

i believe 8x card will work in 4x ports and such, tho obviously not at 8x speeds...anyway
what video do you have now, where are you buying this from, and at what price? what kind of system are you putting it in?

the hot deals forum had a GF3 the other day for under 60 bucks....im sure thats a much better way to go than the gf4mx440 isnt it? take a look in there, some great stuff always popping up if you can be patient for a few days or a week

A GF4 MX440 that can use AGP8x? What a complete waste. What would be a good analogy... Hm.

A 10.5L V12 engine that makes 150HP and 125ft/lb...?
