i posted this over in networking, but I have some time constraints and I was wondering if you nice people over here in GH could help out. Please don't kill me for posting 2 threads.

I need an inexpensive wireless PCI card for my parent's desktop.

Outpost has the Netgear WG311NAR Refurblished 54Mbps Wireless-G PCI Adapter for $20. My other current option is an airlink card for 14.99. My resoning for buying the refurb is that I know the airlink card is low quality. If im wrong there please correct me.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with frys refurbs, I would rather have the Netgear card than the airlink but I am concerned about buying refurbished gear.

FYI they also have this: Netgear WG311TNAR Refurbished 108 Mbps Wireless-G PCI Adapter for $25.

Thanks for the help.

Can't go too wrong for that price. There's no moving parts on them, so chances are it will be fine. I think some people just switch cards to match their router.
