Refurb Wii U Deluxe: $200

That's what is holding me back... just can't justify the investment yet when I'm still mostly using my PS3 as a media machine and my Wii remains dormant most of the time.

Being able to play Mario 3D World on my bed last night on the gamepad has made this purchase worth it a thousand times over. I am astonished how well the remote play works on this thing.
 
Ebay had the deluxe 32gb bundle with mario and luigi U last night for $249 from buy.com as well. Sold out with a quickness.
 
My Wii u came in. It has been a blast. I picked up donkey kong tropic freeze it is a lot of fun, but hard.
 
I think I'll go ahead and get one. The games I want to play are on Wii U and the price is good. 🙂

edit:

I can get a new Wii U with Super Mario Bros. and Luigi Bros. for $299. So, are the two games and a new system worth the extra $100? I guess I will have to see about it. I might see what other Wii U's come with other games included.

Mine came in today - there's no way you'd ever guess it was a refurb except the decal on the box.

Mario Kart 8 should be in tomorrow.

Great deal for the 32gb system - but I'm guessing it'll be $199 at the holidays.
 
I bought one from Groupon several weeks ago for $179 after coupon code. Looks like it was probably a repackaged system from a Spanish speaking country - most of the literature in the box was in Spanish. Didn't have a scratch on it. So far, I'm really happy with the system - the gamepad is super cool. I played New Super Mario Bros U mostly on the gamepad without turning the TV on.

I agree it is a great game but too hard for the intended audience.

I've actually loved my Wii U, sure there arent tons of games available, but the ones that are out are amazing! Mario Kart, Zelda Windwaker, Mario Wii U etc.

I think im the only person in the country with 2 in the house 🙂
 
I'm very tempted to pick one of these up given all the sweet games announced at E3 this year. $200 is a steal. Glad to hear that nobody's had any issues with it.
