I had this camera: Very Very heavy and supr slow. It takes a long time to store the image. ie if you are taking action shots forget it, you will miss alot.

Still have one of these, pleased but not overwhelmed by it. Yes, it is heavy, bulky, slow. Image quality is fair, sometimes it has a hard time locking focus.

The up side? LS-120. Stores near 500 images on one disk, battery life requires a second battery. If you have a SuperDisk already it is great, if not, USB transfer is slow. When I got mine I got a free LS drive, $100 MIR, and second battery. Paid less than this AR brand new. Had to send it back to Panasonic for repair at exactly 1 year. What a nightmare.

I still like the camera for the simplicity and Superdisk. I think the price is a bit much here.

Wow, these are still that much after being the on the market for so long? My Girlfriend has one and I must say that I hate it! It's so damned slow, big, and heavy. The zoom isn't very good and sometimes the flash is too powerful. The movie feature is a gimmick as it takes, choppy low quality movies for only a few seconds.

I'm not trying to thread crap at all, I'm just letting you guys know of my experience with this particular camera. If you want it for the superdisk features, it's great... but otherwise you can get MUCH better for MUCH cheaper! All of this is IMO!

for the price, i'd go with the A40(at least i think it was that) for 250 shipped, and then get a 256mb cf from fry's for $70 :D
