It's a good deal considering the 831's moved into the 5.5ns area. I'm glad I got my real 5.0ns PRO a month ago.

Look at the RAM chips. If you see 5, it's 5ns. If you see 55, it's 5.5ns.

Actually you are doing us a favor, and giving a great reason to buy the card!
Why are they refurbished? Why were they returned?
At least 2 of them for something as simple as a Heat Sink broken off.
They have now been fixed by a human, instead of assembled by a machine, and more than likely will be better than the original retail cards. Unless the card you bought was also a refurbished card, and then the heat sink broke off???

For anyone worried about the *refurb* status of the 88515 Pro, I just received an email from NewEgg that the 815 Pro (5.5 ns RAM) are back in stock. These are retail box but a bit pricier at $142. I'm very glad I got the *refurb* w/ 5 ns RAM on the way
