is refurb monitor any good? and does IBM make good monitor?

IBM monitors are top notch. refurbs is really a crapshoot, altho my roomate got a HP that was literally in like new condition.

I have a refurbished 21" ViewSonic P810 (.25mm, 76 hertz at 1600x1200). It was built in 1996 and runs like its brand new. Since 21"'ers are quite expensive still buying a refurbished 21" is a great idea!
