I know that there's a large number of 24" screens available at this price, even new.

However, the U2413 is a superb monitor for those who want IPS with wide gamut, and the regular price for it is around $400-$450 in the US. Solid build quality, good stand, USB and SD card hub, good connectivity. It's a great price for this upscale screen.

They don't always have them in stock, but right now I'm seeing two left (after I bought one :) ).

Well, it came in. Had all cables, the screen is like new. Overall good deal. I haven't seen this drop to $239 at the egg, only some of the other models, but that'd certainly be a steal.

It was a Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24-Inch for $239.
I paid $320 for my U2412M 24-Inch a few years back.
I am thinking to replace it with a ASUS PB258Q Black 25" 2560 x 1440 for $269.

The 2415 was only $250 a few months ago when I ordered one; is there any advantage of 2412 ?

Get the 2415 over the 2412. The color, response times, bezel and connections are better.

I use a 2412 but have looked into getting a second 24" since the price is low these days.
