Interesting.

However, I have no idea how I'd fit those dual fans in my case.

A search shows that there are other refurb corsair water cooling units for a little cheaper.

good deal!

edit: of course, the loudest/hottest component in my computer is *not* the CPU but rather is the video card...

I was looking at this and I feel that it may not be worth it for the 30 day warranty. Saving $50 to have it leak and destroy my GTX 780 and possibly 4770k and mobo is not worth it imo :(. Check the reviews, it shows that some were already leaking out of the box.

This was my concern as well. I just placed an order for a Kraken X60 yesterday, which ended up being more than double the price of this deal. I think if you get a working unit, this is an AMAZING deal, but that low price also comes with a lot of risk. Does anyone know if Corsair covers damage to other pc components caused by a leak?

***Probably not considering how exploitable that kind of warantee could be...***

They do but once its out of warranty you are on your own. This refurb unit would only be covered along with your hardware for 30 days. That extra $50 is cheap insurance for your hardware. If you are running a PC that is a couple years old, then the risk isn't as bad.

Yea I would want to get a new one but this price is nice.
Wait refurb sale to me says that there are not 1 or 2 but a LOT of returns.
Anyone know if its pumps or hoses or what is wrong with these units?

It seems that the 120mm Antec Kuhler 620 is on clearance at Best Buy. Newnan had it for $41.99 and Peachtree City had it for $42.99. That's the new price but, comparable to refurbs, both locations had open-box units which were 10% off of that price ($4.20/$4.30 off) so I paid $37.79 + tax. Unlike the refurb Corsair, both should still carry the full 3-year warranty.

Interesting.

My Cooler Master Stacker STC-T01 has a vent along the bottom that Danger Den specifically made an adapter for mounting large radiators, so I'd have less trouble mounting this than the Kuhler 620. The Kuhler 620 was advertised as painless and able to mount anywhere a 120mm fan mounts but it has some stupid design decisions that make it not quite so easy. The mounting screws are much too short to reach through anything thicker than the thinnest chassis material so you might have to make a trip to the hardware store like me.
