Thanks jokersmoker. I think this amp would do just fine for pushing a sub too

hey Joker, thanks for the deal. This amp is made for the more serious user. I am an analog designer, and the basis for a good amplifier is in the components. Discrete output stage and toroidal power transformer are two key components!

Checked with Audiosource, there is no manufacturer warranty on these amps, and buy.com won't allow returns on this item... That's too bad, running one bridged on each front channel would be pretty sweet for music. However, I don't think this would make a good sub amp... I don't think it'd be powerful enough, there's no low pass x-over, rumble filter, phase switch or equalizer.

It's a nice audio deal, I'd jump on it if they 30 day returns or if I could afford to take the chance.

I have an earlier version of the Amp One, and it does a really nice job driving the rear channels in my surround system. I wouldn't recommend trying to drive a sub with these, even bridged to mono there isn't enough current capacity to do a good job of it. It would be good bridged mono as a center channel speaker driver, or use two for front main channels. Since this is a computer forum, it would also be awesome as an external amp for your computer speakers!
