Those prices are fair.. I bought my netbook for around $350 back in September 2008. I'd go with the Aspire... the Asus 900 was terrible when I used it and it has a 4gb SSD... dumped it for a 901.

The Asus also has a horrible keyboard. I have the Aspire One and I love it. Highly recommended if you're looking for a Netbook.

i'm not much for refurbs, but 260 is a decent price given that it's got a 6 cell and a big hdd. usually the <$300 netbooks have 3 cel batteries and often a tiny (and not fast) ssd. heck, i paid $350 for my 3 cel wind.

Newegg has the same model (white only) for $299 with free shipping. Essentially you'd be paying $35 for faster shipping and a better warranty.

newegg generally isnt even the cheapest.



i'd only buy from woot since i'm from california and wouldnt have to pay the tax and the waste fee ( $38!)


but then again amazon is only barely more than the refurb on woot.

wow, those are cheap. my 3 cel 160gb wind was 350, as mentioned, and that was about the going rate earlier this year.

$300 bucks for a 6cell 10" netbook is a nice price, where they should've been all long with 14-15" laptops edging the 4-500 range.

These deals are getting pretty sweet.

I paid $240 for an Eee PC 900 (Celly 900mhz, 2GB DDR2 (upgrade), and a 4GB SSD no more than 10 months ago with an employee discount.
