I returned a gift that was given to me today. I did not have the credit card that it was purchased on so the cashier said he can credit my card instead fo the one it was purchased on. My card has a $0.00 balance.

How does that work, will it have a positive balance???

What ever your credit line is, you will have more than that, since you will have a credit balance.
