I got something recently from CC, but it's defective. I actually don't really want it anymore, but their policy on getting refunds for defective items is vague:
Now, it's in its original packaging and not one of the aforementioned items in the first bullet (pair of headphones). However, I want to be prepared for the encounter. If they insist on giving me the exact same product in exchange, I can always turn around and return that, so it should seem logical that I could get the money in the first place. Just don't want to get screwed with a replacement of stuff I don't want (or losing 15% on restocking).
I'm just wondering if others have had experience with this. Thanks for the help.
- Digital cameras, camcorders, desktop PCs, notebook PCs, monitors, printers, scanners and radar detectors must be returned within 14 days of the sale date and (except where prohibited by law) are subject to a 15% restocking fee if returned opened or in a box other than the factory-sealed box.
- There is no restocking fee for defective products returned in exchange for the exact same product, or for open box purchases.
