Refund on a money order

If i got a money order that i filled out already which i now dont need, can i get my money back?

I still got the top half as well, just that its already seperated and filled out.

i had one from my bank that i didn't use, i just took it back and they let me cash it

is it from USPS? i am sure if you go back where you got it they will cash it back to you

yea its USPS,

i figured, just wanted to see if anyone has done it before.

Just take it to any post office, if your name is the sender then you can cash it right then and there. No refund on the money order fee though.

if it is a USPS M.O. and you are the reciepient, can you cash it at the post office as well?

Yeah probably - it is their replacement money anyways. You just either have to be the recepient or the sender named on the MO.
