Refrigerator shopping..

My refrigerator is dying and i was given a budget of 1k but i wanna stay around 900beans. What is the best kind to get nowadays?..i need a LOT of freezer space.

From my research it seems the one that gives the most space overall is side-by-side ones. Any pros or cons? I seen the bottom freezer kinds but they seem to be small.

Check the kind of area you have for a fridge, as in, some of those designs might not work depending on the location

huh?...u mean due to space constraints? other than that i don't see what else would be a problem.

Don't get refrigerators with installed ice makers and water coolers. Ice absorbs all the smells from the friege, and after a month, it will stink like hell in your drink.

Head to Costco. Best deals hands-down. IIRC their appliances are made by Whirlpool - Good stuff.

I got one of them Samsung stainless steel models. Looks awesome and its huge at 25 sq ft. A little over your price range at 1200 though. Makes a ton of ice fast and has a water filter built in.
