Anyone buy a frig in the last year and if so do you have a review/recommendation? I am looking for a higher-end model but nothing insane.

Why?
Beacuse it's SO much easier. You don't have to bend down to get stuff that is on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator part.
It's a design that makes sense, but took companies decades to actually implement.

I thought it was weird at first, but now I swear by it.

Not just a freezer, but a pull out drawer. Freezer on the bottom is a great idea, but if the contents are burried in the back, it's a bitch to get at.

All of the "upside down" models I've seen have a full pull out drawer for the freezer as well as most of the fridge trays. They rule.
