I am running Windows 2000 Pro w/ SP2 on a Voodoo Banshee and Voodoo2. How do you change the default refresh rate for in DirectX? I have my desktop set at 75hz but games always run a horrendus 60hz.
 
Dude it's right there on your puter
Go to:
Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Information
In System Information click on Tools at the top and then highlight Windows
You'll see Direct X Diagnostics. Click on that
Go to the tab "More Help" and look for Over ride button.
And you're finally there !!
