10x7 @ 85hz, which is what I currently use, coincidentally. If my monitor supported 12x10 @ 85hz or better, I might actually use that resolution in gaming, but probably not have that set as my desktop resolution. My eyesight is poor.

I always go with the biggest res possible in games. For some reason in games the 60Hz refresh doesnt hurt my eyes or give me headaches. On the desktop I require at least 85hz. So I would go with the refresh that works with the res.

Of those you listed, I chose 11x8 @ 75hz. I can't stand 60hz.

Really until my 22" Viewsonic Proffesional bit the dust in the hurricane ( :brokenheart: ) I was running 12x10 @ 120Hz. I don't care much for 75hz either. I want at least 85hz, for the reduction in eye strain.

I would have to look at the difference between 1024 @85 and 1280 @75. It would depend on framerates and flicker. Hard to say for sure without experiencing both.

Same here although depending on the circumstances I could tolerate 75 Hz in 2D.

1152x864, it's what i run at work.. can't run 1280 at 85 hertz, but 75 is good enough, esp. compared to 60.
