refresh rate?

just got a new samsung 955DF today, it's real nice.

my question is, what refresh rate should it be set to? never really knew what that was for.

here are my specs:

1152 x 864
32 bit color
gainward geforce 2 mx, 64mb

right now, i have the refresh frequency set to 60 hertz. but the other options are 70,72,75,85 hertz

any help appreciated

The higher the better is my rule of thumb. I recommend 85Hz, otherwise you will most likely see flicker.
