First, here's where I'm coming from. I have a nVidia Geforce 256, NEC Multisynce 90 monitor, and I'm running Windows 98. The problem is that I cannot change the refresh rate. In the Display setting tab I can set it to whatever I like, I'd prefer 85, but it always stays at 60hz. I'm using nVidia's latest Detonator 4 drivers (21.81).
I'm also running linux, which works fine. I have no refresh problems there. Powerstrip also works. I want to know if there is any kind of fix, without using any extra software.
