Refresh Rate Problems

Hey guys,

I have been having problems with the refresh rate in certain games using certain drivers. I have no problems setting my desktop to the resolution and refresh rate that I want, but certain games switch the refresh rate to 75 or even 60 when I use any driver newer than 6.50. The two main games that do it are Counterstrike and High Heat Baseball 2002. Whenever I use a driver newer than 6.50, CS changes my refresh rate to 75 and HH 2002 changes it to 60. This problem is real annoying and I was just wondering how I can get all my games to use the refresh rate that I pick for my desktop (120Hz) instead of switching to a lesser value when I use the newer drivers?

I am running Windows ME, DX 8, and I have a GeForce 2 GTS 64mb card.

I know it's for Win2k, but it won't hurt to try it out on Win9x......I'm not sure if this will do the trick, but it's worth a shot.

Have you updated to 12.41 WDM?
