Refresh rate problems.

Well I am a bit confused, I recently purchased a Viewsonic VX2025ws and it is nice but the major problem is at 1680 by 1050 the only refresh rate is 60. It seems to be killing my eyes. I can set to to 1280 by 1024 and receive 75. I have a 1900XT flashed to XTX with Cat 6.4

I tried both dongles with the same result. I tried forcing it, and it just reverts back to 1280 by 1024 for some stupid reason. Anyone have any suggestions?
 
refresh rates dont kill eyes on lcd monitors, the 60Hz is usually reccomended

i am gonna assume your brightness is uber high
