I have a Dell 8300 w/ a Redeon 9600 Pro. I'm running dual monitors, main is a viewsonic PS790 secondary is an ancient 15" MAG. Main is at 1280x1024, secondary is at 1024x768.
My problem is windows XP Pro won't put the monitor refresh rate higher than 60hz.
I have the monitor correctly set in windows & it shows the valid refresh rates, but it won't actually go higher than 60hz, no matter what you choose.
I downloaded Powerstrip & with the custom timing feature I can force it to 75Hz, but I would rather get windows to work correctly.
Any ideas?
