refresh rate in xp

i have 2 computers that I use with a kvm switch and i recently added win xp to one of the boxes. When i toggle between the both of them the win xp refresh rate seems weird (like very faint flickering) I have a 19inch mitsubishi 920 diamond pro monitor and a radeon 9500 pro video card and the monitor settings ate at 85hz at 1024 x 768 and i do have the mitubishi drivers installed. When i compare both (win 2000 on the other machine) it is noticable. I read something about the refresh rate on xp but can't seem to find out anything. thry both are set to the same refresh and resolution and the win2000 in noticably better---any ideas or suggestions appreciated-------mark

What about switching the XP and 2K video cables around (i.e. port x and y on the KVM)? The problem may lie with the KVM itself.
