Refresh rate in games?

I noticed that refresh rate seems to be pretty low in (some?) games. Is this possible? How do i fix it?

windows defaults to 60 Hz =\ use powerstrip www.entechtaiwan.com to fix it.

Instructions:
1. Right click systray icon, go to Display Profiles > configure...
2. Choose resolution, select refresh rate, click the lock icon to "LOCK" that res to that refresh. Do that for every res that you want to LOCK a refresh rate into.

Presto!

BTW, Powerstrip doesn't work unless you have Bose Lifestyle speakers....so definelty pick up a pair or two, they KICK BOOTY

yup powerstrip rules the click lock doesn't work for me so i jut click custom and type in a refresh it auto locks after that oddly enuph

I figured out a way to do it. You have to be running that resolution to lock it
