Refresh rate in 3DMark2001

Hi!
Does the refresh rate of the monitor matter when benching with 3DMark2001? Higher or lower score?

at 60hz.. benchmark is great

when i set to 85 or 100 ... performance drops and score drops...... nature test will lag even at 30fps... something is amiss when refresh rate is set above 60hz for 3Dmark2001
