I got a virus,and lost everything,computer went back to programing that was before i owned it.have and IBM,pen2,need to reformat and set back up the way i want it.i have a windows disk but not sure what all to do. I also lost my norton,says error make sure that you didnt run the integratater,do i have to re install it to. If so how do you find out your account numbers i have already paid for a year.

Let's start with the basics then... which version of Windows do you pwn? =) let's assume you have a retail XP cd (home/pro). Pop the CD in your drive and reboot. You may have to go into the BIOS by pressing your delete key (some systems use f1) to change your boot device order. Switch it so that your primary boot device is CD-ROM. Once you get that figured out, you are well on your way to installing Windows... let us know how you make out...
