Hey guys any help/alternatives would be greatly appreciated...

I am getting a new computer tommorow, and I need to transfer some files over from my old one, and I dont have a cd burner, and dont really know how to use crossover cables (if anyone can help me with this as an alternative that would be great too). I do have a 128mb usb flash drive that I want to use however, it is reading as having 100mb already full with like 1mb of information on it. I was told a a reformat would help, but I need help doing this.

I googled it and found some information...In MS-DOS mode it says you have to type CD. Is this necessary for me? and then it says format c: Obviously I want to format the flash drive (F) but is this all I have to do? Is there any chance I could mess this up and delete my C drive? Thanks a ton!
