reformatting in win2k

three of us have tried, three of us have failed...how do we reformat w2k? i'm sure it is simple enough that i will have to switch careers and become a fry-guy!

Could you give a bit more info in what you have tried and how it failed? Error messages?? If I still do remember the location correctly just do it in Computer Management under Administrative Tools.

uhm, read the help? its incredibly easy, either in computer management or if your trying to wipe the disc use a win9x boot disk, and do the fdisk/format dance

If you want the same partition(s) you simply go into the BIOS and set the CD ROM to boot first. Put the Win2k CD in and boot from the CD. You will get to a window that will ask you to format the disk.
You could also do what Abzstrak suggested and boot from a Win9x floppy run Fdisk and format and then boot from the CD rom.
