I have a friend, who re-installed XP by formatting the Primary HDD, and leaving the Secondary HDD's data on it. On the Secondary HDD, he had backed up a couple music CDs. When he tries to access them the song that plays does not match what is written on the file name.

What could be the problem?

Could it be the Table of Contents on the HDD.

edit: forgot to mention: the primary HDD had two partitions, only one of which was ever seen in windows. The other one was hidden, but not sure what was on it (nothing important though). The secondary HDD had two partitions as well. The data on the first partition is alright, but it is the secondary partition that has the problem.

edit2: found out that both HDDs are NTFS, although the primary HDD was quick formatted, and then converted to NTFS (according to the Windows installer).
