reformatted, put XP on a partition.....But the unpartitioned space doesn't show up as a drive

ok, so I had one big partition, which I eliminated during XP setup...I then made a 20 gig partition for XP, with the rest unpartitioned....so I install XP, and now I'm back setup...but all that shows up is my C drive, and as having only 20 gigs..wtf??

uhhh, it's unpartitioned, why would you think it'd show up
just partion it under the disk manager in administrative tools->computer management.
 
right click on my computer --> manage --> disk management --> select space not showing up --> assign drive letter
 
Wait, you knew you were posting in the wrong forum, but you posted anyway. I need to try that in real life.
