Reformatted PC and iTunes sync

I reformatted my PC and am having trouble syncing my iPad back. Is there anyway to sync the apps on my tablet back into iTunes or am going to have to download everything again? I've authorized it but that doesn't seem to be doing anything.

I always thought you just had to sign in and authorize it.

I did, but it still wasn't transferring and still wanted to erase everything.

There is a folder in your profile folders with the backup files for the iPad. Gone now since you reformated

I would tough it out for a few weeks until ios 5 comes out, restore as new and not worry about it again

Wasn't any need to. The right click transfer purchases did the trick. It worked perfect. I am having serious thoughts of my next notebook being a mac, iOS has me hooked.
