Reformating

How often do you reformat and install a fresh installation of windows ? Does anyone here never do this or very rarely ? I know some people refuse to do it unless they absolutely have to.

In w95/98 days it wasn't a bad idea to do this every year or so depending on your usage. This has changed a bit with XP and especially Vista. As long as you don't install any junky software that will wreak havoc with your system, you should never have to reinstall the OS, really.
