Reference Drivers vs Specific Drivers

I have just purchased an Asus V7700 Pure, that uses the GeForce2 GTS chip set BTW.

What I was wondering was should I use the latest Asus drivers or the Detonator 3 drivers from NVidea (sp?) I'll be blunt, I'm not technically inclined, so I really don't know which would be the recommended set of drivers to use.

The only real reason I ask is because when I wanted to play Asheron's Call, I had to use 3dfx's voodoo drivers over Diamond's monster drivers. Otherwise, I'ld just use Asus' drivers.

You should use Detonator drivers.
will prob get better performance.

and also,when upgrading to the Det drivers,remember to delete any existing drivers before updating.

best to claer out old drivers,and start with new.
and before doing so,set Vid card up as standard PCI adapter.

then restart,and start deleting your old drivers.
then update to the Det drivers.
