Hello people. I have a 7970 which i tried to flash the GHz Edition to the card. The first attemp failed then i switched to BIOS 2 flashed and failed again. I have now no video signal no matter what but the card's fan spins and seems to work. I have the HD4600 from my core i5 from now on. Is it dead completely? Anyhow to get it working back ? I'll be very grateful if someone can help me out.

You should be able to use a different video card to operate, and then re-flash the BIOS on the bricked card. Is the flash util DOS-based, or Windows-based?

Its windows based ! Does it make any difference? Can i use my HD4600 integrated graphics instead? I mean just plug the card in with the hdmi cable in the motherboard hdmi input and set the iGPU as main display device in BIOS. Haven't tried that yet. My poor card is lying under the bed in its box :p

install another graphics cards and plug that one into your display, boot into safe mode and uninstall the drivers for your card, and then boot into windows and reflash your bad card.

hopefully that does the trick. you could try finding a bios chip from the same exact card, but it would require soldering.
