Reducing T-bird 1.2 gig temps???

Hello everyone! I have recently put together a 1.2 gig 266 fsb system. I have a cheapo case.....and an Antec PP303X 300 watt ps. I have modded it a little and have one Sunon 41fpm fan in the bottom front....and one on the back under the power supply fan. The one on the front is sucking air in and the one in back is blowing it out. I haven't put any more fans in.....as I haven't wanted to cut on my case anymore(and I don't have a dremel....the fans were a big enough pain to get put in). My temps when I first start up the computer today were 38 C....and then it slowly went up from there.....I had SETI@HOME running and shut it down. The temps slowly crept up to 49C....and it tends to run around 49-50C....and I'm usually not doing much of anything.....but.....sometimes I'm running Seti when it's doing that. My heatsink/fan combo is a FOP 32-1....and I'm using some thermal paste from Radio Shack. I'm sure that these temps aren't HORRIBLE....but....I'd like to hear some ideas to reduce them....if any of you have any. I'm using an Asus A7V133 board....and it's using Bios 1001C. I have a friend with the same setup except he is using the Abit KT7A.....and his temps are MUCH lower. He even has the FOP 32-1 cooler. We overclocked his to 1.4....and it ran about 50C....about where mine is. He DOES have several more fans than I do though. He has the heatsink/fan....one on his Radeon LE....two on the side of his case blowing air in....the power supply fan....another fan blowing out....and I think 2 smaller fans in the back also blowing out. Would that make THAT drastic of a difference in our temps? I can feel the air being pulled into the case from the front...and it's being expelled out the back. I'm just trying to get some feedback on this. BTW.....how much stuff do you think could be used without overstressing the Antec ps? It's only rated to 1 gig according to AMD....but....it seems to work ok for what I have now.

Your temps are fine...

You can't compare them to your friends because both the a7v133 and the kt7 "interpret" socket-thermistor temperatures differently.

Give the exact same setup, an A7V class board will "read" higher temps than the kt7.
