Reducing defective eyesight.

Hi,

I currently have defective eyesight of 0.75 in both the eyes. I wear glasses all the time to keep the sight number from increasing.......but that is not very true as over the past six months my eyesight increased from 0.50 to 0.75 i.e., increase of 0.25 even after wearing glasses all the time.

So, is there any natural way of stopping my eyesight from getting worse (or even better) reducing it to the normal vision of 20/20?

I know about the laser treatment (don't exactly know what it's called) which reduces the defective eyesight and gives you almost 20/20, but i don't want any treatment of that sort done on me.

I would like to reduce my defective eyesight "naturally"......................................

So.....................is it possible????????????????????

I thought wearing glasses all the time was worse for your eyes because you hurt them more if you use them when you don't need them.

There are no magic herbs or eyeball sit-ups, and the carrots would only help to correct a vitamin deficiency.

If you're already seeing an opthamologist they would probably have told you if you had something that was correctable without surgery.

Well, there you go...........

i knew that answer but like always i was expecting something more from anandtech (i mean you people).

Now i know for sure that there us no natural remedy for that cure.

Anyway, thanks everyone.

But if someone someday finds a natural cure, please be kind to let me know.......

See the link I posted.

There's a contact lens that you wear overnight and take out in the morning, which is supposed to give you perfect (or close to perfect) eye-vision. I heard it's expensive though, anyone know the name of it?
