Reduced OC on my A64

Kind of a weird problem here, probably not unheard of though. My A64 doesn't want to run at 2.4 ghz anymore. It ran at 2.4ghz for about 2 weeks on my previous PSU, then in the final week of that PSU (Antec 350w), it wouldnt run at 2.4 ghz anymore. Then the PSU died, i bought a new one (Enermax Noisetaker 420W) and I still can't boot at 2.4, even at 1.7 vcore. I think i was at 2.4 before at 1.6 vcore. I was very comfy at 2.4 ghz before - I would like to get back there without having to change my HTT or any Memory stuff, since i didn't have to do it before, it seems like it should still be able to hit 2.4 Ghz. The rails now are all better than they were before.

I tried a lot of different settings, it seems like i should still be able to run at 2.4 ghz without changing anything, but i guess i might have to. What can i do? I've tried dropping the HTT and changing the mem/fsb ratio to lots of different settings, and i'm already at 1.7 vcore so i can't go any higher there. What shall i do?
 
how many times are you going to ask this?

and you stated in your last thread it was BACK to 2.4... wtf?
 
Well, it can boot at 2.4, but only sometimes, and it's not stable at all.

You have a similar system to mine, ComputermAn, maybe it's a hardware prob. When i try to run Prime95 at 2400 it gives me a hardware failure error within 30 seconds.
 
It's not too new, I can tell by the model number it's at least 4 months old

plus it ran at 2.4 ghz fine for a while.
 
BTW, anything i should check out? I think all my hardware is in the right place, but i'm not so sure. What settings should i change to try and get a better OC? Think i've tried everything.
